Most work is thorough and praised for design quality, responsive account management, and skilled crews. One serious incident involving artificial turf damage led to refused accountability, though this stands as a rare exception in a strongly positive history.
Strong track record as a multi-service contractor and cleaning specialist. Most jobs are completed professionally and on time, though one move-out clean included missed baseboards, damaged floors, and poor communication-though they responded quickly to fix it.
Whittlesey sells landscape supplies and materials in bulk with a strong track record for on-time delivery and courteous service. Drivers Randy and Bobby are frequently praised for careful placement in tight spaces and going beyond what's asked. One neighbor complaint about equipment noise from 5:30 a.m. onward, though most reviewers focus on the supply quality and staff helpfulness.
Gold Star Landscaping delivers consistently high-quality work with Jeffrey leading projects that range from full yard overhauls to specific repairs. Crews arrive punctual, finish quickly, clean up thoroughly, and handle everything from sod replacement and grading to paving, planting, and irrigation fixes. Their strength is listening to what you want, explaining options clearly, and executing with visible pride in the outcome. Common thread across projects: reviewers praise specific crew members (Yefri, Luis, Alex), honest pricing, and willingness to go beyond the initial scope to make things right. One reviewer noted slow initial response time, but nearly all 151 reviews were five stars. Service areas include Austin, Georgetown, South Austin, Lockhart, and the northern suburbs.
Rated 4.5 across 73 Google reviews. Reviewers praise plant knowledge, fair prices, and friendly staff. Review text is limited, and one reviewer disputed a tree warranty.
Most reviewers find the yard staff friendly and the selection wide. Shoppers say prices are fair, and bulk materials are sold by the yard or by weight. Complaints focus on delivery timing, a missing-materials dispute, and one report of staff conduct. Several reviewers praise the people behind the counter and in the yard. One buyer called out specific staff by name. A few reviews describe a smelly hardwood mulch and a tense desk exchange, so buyers should check product and ask about delivery dates in advance.
Reviewers' experience is not the right frame here, so: homeowners who hire Southern Landscape tend to praise the designers for listening and revising ideas. Crews get credit for courtesy, tidy cleanups each day, and finishing on schedule. Across 44 Google reviews, the company averages 4.7 stars, with 86% five-star ratings. Reviewers name designer Ashleigh and crew leads Cody and Fico. Work covers irrigation repair and replacement, full backyard and front-yard designs, patios, retaining walls, stonework, and a rebuilt entry bridge. One reviewer praised fast, fairly priced irrigation locating. Complaints are absent from the recent reviews.

Blue Agave delivers strong initial work on patios, stonework, and garden features, with owners praising Cesar's design creativity and clean execution. Repeat customers return for quality results, but some face delayed responses or unaddressed issues after the job ends, particularly on larger xeriscaping jobs.
Reviewers describe steady, personal service from named technicians like Mike Phipps and Alex Ward. Several customers switched over from other lawn companies and say the service feels more attentive. Communication comes up again and again, with techs checking in between visits. Larger jobs get strong marks too. One design and installation project praised the project manager for frequent site visits, progress videos, and a crew that cleaned up daily. Irrigation fixes were called quick and accurate. Review text is mostly from five-star reviews, so complaints are scarce.
Caleb's crew handles large tree jobs with military precision: three oak trees trimmed, chipped, and hauled away in a single day, no debris left behind. Reviewers consistently mention speed, fair pricing, and willingness to add extras (loose rock cleanup, multiple follow-up visits for satisfaction) that weren't on the contract.
All 8 Google reviews are five-star, and reviewers repeatedly praise quick replies and punctual visits. Many mention fair prices and steady lawn cuts. Patio cleanup, trimming, and a custom fertilizer also come up in reviews.
